The above retail operations make and sell reproduction clothing mostly of the late 18th and early 19th century styles. They also carry supplies, patterns, and small accessories.
Full-service theatrical suppliers
Norcostco has locations nationwide (USA) to facilitate shipping and service. They sell stage and scenic equipment, makeup, costume wigs, small hand props, and rent costumes.
National costume rental companies
While many other exist, here are two time-tested companies. Broadway Costumes in Chicago and Costume World in Florida. Rental requests should happen at least 8 weeks prior to needed date for best service availability.
